Swing Dancing:
One of Paul’s other passions is Swing dancing! A fantastic partner-dance style from the 30’s & 40’s, Swing is a fabulous way to enjoy many of the songs that Paul sings in an interactive manner that’s also great for your fitness-levels and a fun way to meet people!

Valve Amp Repairs - Peach Audio:
Although Paul’s primary instrument is his voice, he also dabbles in a bit in of jazz guitar, and has his guitar amp maintained by Dave Peach of Peach Audio. Dave is an absolute guru when it comes to valve-technology; check out the glowing (no pun intended!) reviews of his own-designed & built M196SE studio mic-preamps.

Paul has two goals that indirectly involve Dave; to play great jazz guitar through his awesome sounding Peach-maintained amp, and to record some vocals through one of Dave’s magnificent pre-amps...

Interested in jazz singing?
If you are a budding jazz-singer who is interested in getting some on-stage practice, why not come along to Kate Dunbar’s singers’ workshop? This workshop is a great opportunity to practice working with a live band, and receive feedback & encouragement from Kate, a legend in the Australian jazz community.  Kate has been running this workshop for about 19 years (!!), and also teaches privately.

When: Tuesday evenings, 7:30 - 10:30pm

- Song charts for at least two songs (minimum 3 copies of each)
